Building Permits

Building permits are available at the Auditor’s office and Moore Engineering Inc.

Permits are required for:

Additions, Sunrooms, Covered Porches, Decks
New Garage / Alteration to existing garage
Driveway
Gazebo or Arbor
Mechanical
Sheds
New Window and Door (if there is a change in the opening size) If there is no change in the opening size when replacing windows and doors, no permit is required.
Interior remodeling if there is a change in the structural element within the structure

Permits are not required for roof (shingles) or fences.
