Candy and Item Distribution: For safety, only walkers may hand out candy and other items.
Pet/Animal Participation
Animals are allowed in the parade.
Please ensure your animal's temperament is suitable for a noisy and crowded environment.
Registration Process
How to Register: Complete the registration form below and click submit.
Registration Deadline: 9:00 AM on Friday, July 26, 2024. Early registration is encouraged to avoid last-minute issues.
Late Entries: After 9:00 AM on the day of the parade, register in person at the Information Table at Central Cass High School, East Parking Lot (5th St N & 9th Ave N).
Parade Week
A reminder email with a list of all current entries will be sent to participants.
New This Year
No entrant numbers will be assigned. Line-up is first-come, first-served, following the entry in front of you.
No parade participants will be announced. Decorate your vehicle/trailer/etc. to promote your participation. Early Entry Participants will also be listed on the Summerfest Facebook page.
Day of the Parade
Registration/Line-Up Start Time: 10:00 AM
Check-In Location: Central Cass High School, East Parking Lot (5th St N & 9th Ave N) After check-in, proceed to the staging area: head east to 15th Ave. N. (“Turkey Road”) and turn south (right). The first vehicle should start the line-up at the stop sign on 15th Ave N.
Starting Position: In front of Earl’s Repair on Front Street. The Vets Club and additional groups will start first, followed by the rest of the participants.
Distance Between Vehicles: No more than 50 feet between vehicles. Long space between vehicles indicate the parade is over, causing the traffic controller to possibly open the road to the public.
Parade Route
Begins in front of Earl’s Repair on Front Street.
Proceeds West to Langer Avenue.
Turns North on Langer Avenue.
Proceeds past the Fire Station.
Ends at 5th St. N. on Langer Ave.
Procession Start Time: 11:00 AM
